Bangkok: The City of Contrasts and Charms

My first international trip and my heart has set Bangkok as my first destination. I've visited Bangkok with my "A" circle, together with good people who make an impact in my life. They giving color to this rather gray life.

Bangkok..., Thailand's vibrant capital, is a metropolis that beautifully blends ancient traditions with a bustling and modern lifestyle. It's a city that excites all the senses, from the aroma of sizzling street food to the dazzling sights of gilded temples and towering skyscrapers. Here’s a glimpse into the diverse experiences that await you in this captivating city.

A Culinary Paradise

Bangkok's reputation as a foodie haven is well-earned. We tried many food there. From an authentic street food adventure, till the fancy food there were never failed. We tried Pad Thai Kratong Thong by Ama, Thong Smith, Polo Chicken. We look no further than Banthat Thong Road, This area is a street food lover's dream, offering an endless array of local delicacies, from savory stir-fries and noodle soups to grilled skewers and fiery salads. We visited Jeh O' Chula there this is the no 1 and best restaurant during my trip there. But the culinary journey doesn't end there. Bangkok is a true dessert paradise. You can find everything from traditional Thai sweets like Mango Sticky Rice and coconut ice cream to trendy, modern creations at popular cafes. The city's dessert scene is a testament to its innovative spirit, offering a delightful treat for every palate.

Historical and Spiritual Wonders

The city's rich history is best experienced through its magnificent temples and shrines. The Erawan Shrine, though small, is a highly revered site where locals and tourists come to pray and make offerings. A short boat ride across the Chao Phraya River will take you to two of Bangkok's most iconic landmarks. Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is home to a massive and stunning golden statue of the Buddha. Just across the river, Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn, mesmerizes visitors with its intricate, porcelain-decorated prangs (towers), offering a spectacular view, especially at sunrise or sunset.

Shopping Galore

From bargain hunting to high-end luxury, Bangkok is a shopper's dream. For an immersive and chaotic shopping experience, head to Pratunam and Platinum Fashion Mall, a wholesale hub for clothing and accessories where you can get great deals by buying in bulk. For a unique weekend market adventure, Chatuchak Weekend Market is a must-visit. With over 15,000 stalls, you can find everything imaginable, from vintage clothes and handicrafts to pets and home decor.

For a more modern shopping experience, Bangkok's megamalls are a destination in themselves. ICONSIAM is a luxurious riverside mall known for its beautiful architecture and a replica of a traditional floating market inside. CentralWorld is one of the largest shopping complexes in the world, offering a vast selection of international brands, restaurants, and entertainment. Meanwhile, MBK Center is a classic choice for electronics, mobile phones, and a wide variety of affordable goods.

The City That Never Sleeps

As night falls, Bangkok transforms into a vibrant playground of lights and sound. Khaosan Road is the epicenter of this nocturnal energy. Famous as a backpacker's heaven, this street is alive 24/7 with bustling bars, live music, and street vendors. It's the perfect place to grab a drink, meet fellow travelers, and dance the night away.

Whether you're exploring its ancient temples, indulging in its world-class cuisine, or getting lost in its bustling markets, Bangkok promises an unforgettable adventure that will leave you wanting to come back for more.

Situationship

 Have you ever been unsure about your own feelings? More likely about whether these feelings are right or wrong? It's feels close but far at the same time. It feels comfortable every time he's around you but some of yourself must aware that there is no binding relationship. Simultaneously afraid, whether this is just filling a momentary emptiness or true comfort. All i know right now is i'm happy to be around him, and also my biggest fear is that this feeling appears in the middle of long-standing friendship. It's feel romantic, more than friendship but in grey area. Struggle with my own feelings, ask God for guidance and still waiting.  f*** this feeling.

A letter for God...

Tuhan, life after failure, break up itu sepi & sulit dijalani. Banyak yang bilang itu seperti cacat seumur hidup. Tapi, I trust in You & I know You will make it happen in the right time. Ketemu orang yang tepat di usia 30 tahun & menikah diusia 32 tahun pun masih menjadi hak yang indah Tuhan. Bisa punya keturunan di usia 34 tahun dan memulai keluarga kecil di usia 35 pun masih jadi wonderful blessing for me. Buying my first property or asset at 40 is still an amazing milestone. Moving to a new county at mature age of me maybe 45 or 50 is still a breakthrough.  Aku mulai bisa berdamai Tuhan, sedikit demi sedikit. I don't make others timetable become my pressure or standar anymore. I trus in Your time & timing. I know it was th eperfect one for me.
